Please see the below collection of thoughts and feedback provided to us by a range of different visitors and clients of Gayle Mill in recent times. This includes feedback from group visits, individual trips and courses we have put on at the Mill.

Group Visits:

Dear Claire,

Thanks so much to William, Mike and yourself for all the effort and time given to our guests. They all appreciated the time spent with you, not least the cup of tea at the end. They talked long and hard after their visit about the many aspect shown and discussed. I hope that Gayle Mill continues to flourish in the future.

Dear Claire,

On behalf of our party from Bedale who visited the Mill on Monday 15th September, I wish to thank you and all the team for a very enjoyable and informative tour. Please give special thanks to Brian for showing us around. We all enjoyed the time we spent with him and his account of the mill and its history was really well done.

John Burton, Bedale Probus 25 Club

Many thanks to Tony and all the other people who made our visit to your wonderful Gayle Mill possible. We all had a really enjoyable time. Tony's knowledge and enthusiasm made it a trip to remember and of course we had a beautiful summer's evening so the journey home was perfect.

Course Feedback:

The Ceramic button making course was absorbing, peaceful, innovative, inspiring and imaginative.

The Wheelwrighting course was a day beyond belief!

Stained Glass for Christmas was fun, informative and the food and atmosphere was lovely.

Hard back book binding course delivered value for money and an excellent experience in some very beautiful surroundings.

Nothing on the Book Binding course could be improved on the day, unless you can move the mill closer to where I live!

The Blacksmithing course was a very enjoyable day with good course content and a friendly atmosphere.
