Disabled Facilities
There are two parking spaces at the Mill for disabled visitors (please display your badge in your windscreen). If you require a parking space, please make it clear when you are booking your tickets, so that the gate can be opened for you.
As Gayle Mill is a grade II* listed building, only the ground floor is accessible to visitors with mobility difficulties and wheelchair users. However, a special interactive computer-screen console has been installed which is linked to several remote cameras on the floor below (to transmit pictures of the turbines and line-shafting) and to the volunteer tour guide's spoken narrative.
There is one unisex wheelchair-accessible toilet for the use of all visitors.
