Disabled Facilities
Parking
There are three parking spaces at the Mill for disabled visitors (please display your badge in your windscreen).
Access
There is level wheelchair access to the ground floor (reception and workshop). There are stairs to the lower-ground floor and first floor. As Gayle Mill is a grade II* listed building, there is no lift between the three floors.
Audio-visual system
For visitors with mobility difficulties and wheelchair users, there is a special interactive computer-screen console on the ground floor. This screen is linked to several remote cameras on the lower-ground floor (to transmit pictures of the turbines and line-shafting) and to the tour guide's spoken narrative.
WC
There is one unisex wheelchair-accessible toilet for the use of all visitors.
